I wonder if you can help me with a licensing question please?

We are a registered partner and have the Action Pack. After completing the SBS assessments also have a 1 year subscription to Technet on-line.

We are using CRM 3.0 SBE on our SBS server and would like to start using the Portal product from c360 to allow our client's to access service information about their open cases via our website. I understand that we need the external connector from MS (License only - no software required) but I understand this has a flat cost of about $15K. As we only have three technicians there is no way we can even consider this outlay. Is there any way we can obtain this licensing via any of our partner benefits?

Thanks

During a recent security audit, I changed the passwords for CRMMail and
CRMRouter users (via ADUC) to new, complex ones.
Since I changed the passwords, any replies from customers, to emails sent
from CRM (with the tagged subject line), do not automatically get populated
into CRM ( have to manually click the 'Track in CRM' button when the email
comes into an Inbox in Outlook to get it added to the history).

I guess I need to tell CRM these password have changed? Do you know where I
would do this please?
"

Would you be able to point me in the right direction please? Or suggestions of where I can look (have tried the usual MS support site, Google)?

Thank you, James

CRM web cast or videos

Hi

Can anyone (David?) point me to an article that explains how to integrate MapPoint 2004 with a CRM 3.0 installation please?

This MSDN article is for CRM 1.2, and appears to be for development / testing purposes (maybe I'm reading it wrong?).

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnmbscrm1_2/html/mbs_crmmappointintegration.

Havn't been able to find anything in the CRM deploment guide, forums, support.microsoft.com, google searches, etc so far.

The set up is CRM 3.0 SBE on SBS 2K3 SP1 ISA 2K4.

Thanks,

following a conversation with Dan Best at the Bristol Partner Group show I have added this information around MSCRM V3 - the site includes downloads for MSCRM VPC - (5 x 700MB & 1 x 380MB) as well as implementation guides, customisations, ReadMe's, Terminal Services docs and more.

Have a look at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=3D36AC8E-B485-4F0C-9DEC-C9BACBAD1A73&displaylang=en which is the page to download the "Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Data Migration Pack".

This covers importing from Business Contact Manager (smaller business's CRM solution - available as part of Office Small Business Edition or Pro Edition) and also importing from other packages.
